Where the Magic Happens

I had a bit of a moment this week, a moment where I doubted myself and whilst that’s not unusual, this one felt greater than most. It wasn’t the ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’ thing, it was more along the lines of ‘is this really what I want to do’.

Now I know that you’ve had this, I know that you’ve been doing things because it seems the right thing to do, what’s expected or it will make someone or something happy; your partner, your mate, your god?

I reached out to good friend of mine and he replied with this:

“I think it’s useful to know if it’s a fear worth conquering, or a deep feeling worth honouring.”

What a question!

In these situations, I take it to a temple, find the one that feels right for the question and do a deep meditation. Tiphareth, the temple of the Sun, of balance, sacrifice and soul work was my choice.

The meditation was beautiful, but it may surprise you to know that I got very angry during the meditation. This is something people often don’t associate with meditation, but your emotions are raw in every sense, on the Tree of Life in particular, and to imagine it’s purely about white beings and happy vibes is misleading.

In order to fully appreciate what’s happening, feelings are key, crucial to our understand; their running mate emotions must play their part too.

This conversation is about honouring those feelings in those moments, being open in the presence of Archangels, Guides and the magical places you go to is where the healing happens, the cleansing comes, the solution served.

Often exhausting, as was this, it’s important to journal what you say, heard and felt and then act on what you discovered. Magic happens when you take from above and bring it to below, just as you too what was going on below and asked for guidance from below.

This is the first principle of the Magician, the 12th path; As above, so below.
